evolving

In preparing to be away from the interweb for a few days I was freshening the modules on the laptop and noticed a new release of Device::SerialPort was available.

Got all excited that it might have better docs, or a few handy convenience methods, so I upgraded. No such luck. It seems to be mostly a new build system, and I've already fought the battle of getting it installed on the box.

Went go-karting. Pondered the performance issues incurred by File::Find::Rule's love of subroutine dispatch, and wrote most of my slides for the Device::Ericsson::AccessoryMenu talk.
