More noodling with Device::Ericsson::AccessoryMenu took me over
into X11::*.
Found X11::GUITest to be really useful, with the small caveat that
there's no exposed interface for sending separate KeyDown and KeyUp
events. Quickly hacked that in and sent a patch off to the author.
Wrote a basic
syndicator
for podblog->use.perl.org by using an extra view class and a modified
version of jjohn's
journal_client.
Now I'll be able to keep the world current without having to force
them over into my corner to do it.
Hit the 30 posts in 4 hours limit while sending over a loading dose,
but that shouldn't have to happen again.
Noticed that the index page was getting a bit heavy to view, so
tweaked the template to suppress any entries after the first few.
Maybe Simon Cozens is right, and I should switch to using Bryar,
though I suspect that I'd end up expending more effort than just
writing a Bryar::DataSource::Pod module. That and I'm already
quite attached to my own system of reinvented wheels.
Still no mood graphics...
